Just wanna share with baby this...... In today's daily bread, it speak forth about "being still". The author for today's daily bread shared this, and I felt that it is something that would help us to see the things that are unseen...
He shared: " My take on the matter is that God is fully aware of all the distractions of life, and there are times when he doesn't expect us to be 'super-spiritual' so that we fail we can beat ourselves up again and need yet another 'Healing Retreat'. Maybe the answer to commit our times to the Lord, asking him to be with us in the everyday distractions, so that the inner peace is not robbed, the distractions don't become stumbling blocks, and when all is done we may still know that he is God." Yup...
And then, the author end off by saying this "Perhaps being still is about resting in Jesus in the noise of everyday life, and knowing that He's always God, even in the frustrations and distractions." :D
yup... totally agree with what the author shared and I believed that it is a reminder for all of us to be still in the Lord's presence no matter how busy our life can be... okay... and let's pray...
Father Lord, thank you for your word and thank you for your encouragement. Lord, we just want to say that we are sorry for all the distractions in our life that keep us away from being still in your presence. Lord, we want to come back into your presence once again and to hear your voice and what it is that you want to say to us. Lord, teach us your ways to deal with the things of life that come our way, and please help us to be still.
In Jesus name we pray. Amen
*Scripture for the day:
Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
Psalm 46:10, NIV
